Benjamin Reid
VP, Strategic DevelopmentBenjamin brings 16 years of media leadership to the Executive team at Operative. As VP of Strategic Development, Benjamin is responsible for developing and nurturing strategic partnerships throughout the digital ecosystem. These partnerships increase Operative clients' revenue and efficiency through meaningful systems integration. In this role, Benjamin works closely with clients and the VP of Product to align Operative's internal product roadmap with external partner opportunities. Benjamin brings his technical background and deep knowledge of the media landscape to transform the Strategic Development team into a critical role at Operative.
Benjamin joined Operative from About.com where he most recently served as VP of Sales Operations. In this role, Benjamin oversaw Ad Operations and Client Service teams and was responsible for inventory forecasting, sales planning, campaign optimization, product development, and vendor management. Benjamin has also held related positions at Uproar.com and ARTNews Magazine.
An active member of the interactive ad industry, Benjamin is a frequent speaker at events held by the IAB, AdMonsters, and Digital Hollywood. Benjamin is a graduate of Boston University with a BA in English Literature.
